Why do white folks........

...always become extra movementy when they are talking to a foreigner?

So im on the bus coming home from work. The book im read "Three cups of tea" ive just finished. I had to give it back today so i skimmed half of the book. Although i decided not to go to the library in the end and incur a 12p fine, i decided to go on the weekend so that i could return some other books as well.

Anyway im on the bus and ive nothing to read so im window shopping!!!! When the bus stops at the red light at china town i see a girl speaking to a chineese guy on the sidewalk/pavement. The girls head is bobbing alot making a lot extra wobbly yesses and no's. Her hands are also moving alot as if movement of hands are going to make the guy understand faster. Anyway, she keeps pointing to her knee. And im assuming that there is something wrong with her to which maybe she thinks a random chineese guy can help. All this time her boyfriend is just standing there. observing.

Then my bus moves on as the lights have changed. Got to go. I look at the guys face though. His accomplish obviously doesnt see it though. He is thinking "For fucks sake. What the fuck am i doing here? Why did she have to fucking stop? Why does she fucking think chineese boy over here will understand? Did he just touch her leg?

I guess the questions im asking are why does the girl think some random guy ( i just remembered the shop this chineese guy is standing outside is called Dr China) could help? And why do guys keep putting up with this kind of shit from their girlfriends/wives?
and above else why do white people always think that moving your head and hands alot always makes it easier for other nationalties to understand you better?
