When i stole a bike....Part 1

So it all started with the simplest of things. A walk. I was taking a brisk walk in a cool summer evening. Along the walk I happened to chance upon a bike outside a well-to-do house. I did, what anybody in my position would do. I stole the bike.
I crossed the road on the bike and proceeded to quickly ride it away. I could already hear the commotion in the house regarding the stolen bike. I didn’t stop and I didn’t look back.
Then the guilty conscience struck.
Also someone began to chase me. So I ditched the bike at a bus stop and walked away. I kind old man with a gentle face was standing at the bus stop. He was probably bewildered as to what I was doing. Who leaves a brand new white glossy bike at a bus stop?
I left him to his bewilderment.
I carried on walking but eventually the guilt was too much. So I decided to go back to the house I had stolen the bike from. The people who lived in the house were of Asian origin. I went up to two women in the house. They were inside an alley way on the property. I told them that I had stolen the bike but it was returned and that I was sorry for the distress I had caused them. They listened sympathetically.
Out of the two women one was married. Remember your friends hot mom when you were 12 (and when you didn’t have naughty thoughts) she was like that.
I walked out the alley way behind them and ran into the husband. He told me that if he wanted to and had the bike not been found he could have had the bike recovered in about 10 minutes. He snapped his fingers when he said this. I told him I knew this. I don’t know why I said that. Then he just stopped talking.
In an effort to attain forgiveness (and subsequently not put in jail I joined the whole family in the garden who were doing some sort of manual work. The involved rolling up lots of kitchen foil.
After many hours, one of the women, the women who I had taken a liking to earlier took me to one side and told me to go home. Thinking forgiveness had come I began to walk out and out of the garden. The woman who I will now refer to as ‘The beautiful lady’ began to walk me home. What the hell I thought. I insisted that she go back home. I was thinking I don’t want her walking back home in the dark and alone.
She wouldn’t listen. She carried on walking with me. I gave up trying to convince her to go back home.
Across the road I saw some gentleman standing around. I sensed a beating coming…....tbc
