at work I am going to punch something!!!
No, not the baby. Nor the mother.
But something yes! I have to. I’ve no choice. Oh this is a HATIE alright.
There are a number of pregnant women at work. All sitting there proudly with their bellies hanging down to their feet. With their open sandals because all their existing shoes won’t fit. And their stupid feet.
Everyone comes up and enquires about how the "little one" is doing. Well he/she is doing fine until he or she gets out....that’s when the problems start.
But seriously why do people bring in their kids or their pregnant wives to show them off? I mean what I care if about your little kid. Ok granted some babies are cute. Especially the Chinese ones. Maybe. But others? Thanks but no thanks. I don’t want to see it, hold it, admire it, awwwwww it or smell it.
Unfortunately I have to just stand, smiling ( a fake smile by the way) and admire the little one and pretend that kids don’t like me...or I can’t hold it because I might drop it. It’s worked so far.
Stay at home and leave the kid there too!!
Shit. Next week school's are off and parents are bound to bring the kids because they couldn’t get a babysitter (read mom or dad) to look after them. The kids will sit on empty desks and play games on work computers or just play with one another!!!
Well at least it’s better than the time when a woman bought a dog into work!
Speechless aren’t you?

OKie now this seems a real hateful post for the poor kids :P It happens if it were any other developed country there wouldn't have been any kids at work. But here parents cant just trust anyone for their kids, its hard for youngsters to understand BUT kids do matter alot once u have ur own :)
ok first of all i resent the term youngster! i am far from it.
Secondly you'd have be really cold...like Hitler or General Zod, not to like kids. I am neither. I checked.
Parents should just not bring them in. It wastes valuable working time. Or if they do bring them in...haven't they heard of child labour? lol
Why exactly do you notice or get irritated by the presence of pregnant women? :-).
I think its the pressure that society puts on an individual in certain cicumstances. In this case you are expected to praise the womans bump and make small talk....
I think its how society expects us to behave is the real iHatie here lol
