This hatie is as follows. You watch a film or something on tv. A baseball or a football game. Some one hits the ball and it swerves and comes straight at you. The viewer. Its just like when theres a monster flying about on the screen and then it will turn in and come at the viewer and you see teeth. And the little bitey mouth. Or in a shooting scene, the bullet or a shard of glass bounces and comes straight towards you.....Hopefully you get my drift by now.
This all started with the Matrix of course. When the first time Neo went all twisty and dogded all those bullets (if i have spoilt the film for you, serves you right caveman/woman. You should have at least seen it by now) and that bullet came straight at you...you sure as hell winced. You probably then told your friends sitting next you.
"whoa, did you see that? that came straight at you. whoa, that was so cool. he he" or something to that affect/effect.
Since then the thing has been done to death. There wont be a film or tv drama that its not done in. So now the only time i now close my eyes now is when i yawn...that too because of the expectant "straightatya" thing. You could do the same or...just move your eyes out of the way!
